| Patients will be asked to arrive 30 minutes before their MRI appointment to fill out the appropriate forms. This is necessary to screen the patient of any surgically implanted objects which may be contradictive to the MRI (pacemakers, aneurysm clips, etc.) and also to get the proper medical history.
Once paperwork is complete take the time to use the restroom (disrupting the study to use the restroom, might mean starting the entire test again).
Once the paperwork is complete the technologist will enter the patients information into the computer. Depending on the patients clothing, there may be a need to change into a gown. The technologists will instruct whether this is necessary.
